Assessment of WASH damages, WASH new approaches, and study and design of WASH needs in Beneshangul Gumuz, Somale and Tigray Regions of Ethiopia
Duties and responsibilities: conducted
evaluations of WASH baseline surveys, as
well as studies and designs of WASH
construction needs in the towns of Shire,
Adwa, Axum, Bambasi, Asosa, Bildiglu,
Sheder Awbare, Kebribaya, and Jigjiga, for
refugees, host communities, and public
institutions.
Major activities: gathered primary and secondary data from various WASH stakeholders, determined and designed the towns’ and community’s needs for water supply and sanitation, Create a fresh strategy for the QEP project’s wash intervention in the relevant towns. Conducted stakeholder’s workshop for validation at respective regions
